That thing that happens when there is a wind off the water on a humid summer morning. The clammy, cool, goosebumpy feeling that my skin takes on. the way my hair turns thick and unruly and tiny ringlets form at my temples and the nape of my neck. the way the sun drops diamonds on the horizon that make me squint my eyes, and how, when i lick my lips, i can taste the ocean on my tongue.
